Although a young company, Font Fusters, S.L. draws on a rich family history of five generations in woodworking. Over 150 years of expertise in crafting, refining, and innovating with wood!
The story of our origins begins in Sant Martí de Tous, at Cal Fuster de la Plaça, where our ancestors worked as skilled wood artisans. Through time, this craft has grown and adapted, shaping the company we are now.
Since 1996, Font Fusters has combined the heritage of skilled woodworking with cutting-edge technology. We handle interior and exterior carpentry as well as fine cabinetry, delivering projects both in our workshop and on-site.
Today, alongside our traditional expertise, we have a team of engineers in our technical office, enabling us to manage projects with a global, precise, and modern approach that meets today’s requirements.
Font Fusters is now located in the Les Comes industrial area of Igualada, where we keep growing and delivering on our commitment to quality, sustainability, service, and our love for woodworking.

Traditional Carpenters
Our family’s carpentry tradition began in the late 19th century in Sant Martí de Tous, when our great-great-grandfather started the trade, establishing four generations of skilled carpenters. The house still bears the name Cal Fuster de la Plaça (now a countryside home).
During the 1970s, the workshop was relocated to Igualada’s Poble Sec neighborhood, and in the 1990s, it moved to the Les Comes Industrial Estate, where it continues to operate as Font Fusters.
