During the REBUILD 2025 congress held in Madrid, the COPADE foundation has presented several initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable construction with certified wood, reinforcing traceability, social inclusion and responsible forest management.
Featured projects
Among the projects presented, the following stand out:
- Bosque Innova: initiative to develop constructive solutions with local wood, certified FSC and Madera Justa.
- Forest Innovation in Guatemala: an international project that supports local communities in the sustainable management of tropical forests, promoting added value wood and fair trade.
- Wood and technology: implementation of digital traceability with blockchain to guarantee the sustainable origin of the material from the tree to the work.
Social and environmental impact
These actions seek to reduce CO2 emissions, promote the local bioeconomy and promote cultural change within the construction sector, placing certified wood as a key resource for the design of carbon-neutral buildings.
