The rehabilitation project “Josep Tarradelles”, in Barcelona, has focused on the transformation of housing with a clear desire to establish continuity between the interior and the exterior, with wood as the main protagonist of the project.
The action has opted for warm and natural materials, highlighting especially the extensive use of wood both inside and on the facades and exterior enclosures, creating a feeling of harmony and coherence throughout the space. This choice not only provides visual comfort and pleasant touch, but also connects the project with criteria of sustainability and durability.
Another of the most outstanding aspects is the generous presence of natural light, which penetrates through the large windows and is reflected in the wooden surfaces, enhancing the warmth and breadth of the interior spaces. The design has sought to maximize this entry of light and establish a fluid relationship with the outside, creating habitable spaces, serene and full of life.
With this intervention, “Josep Tarradelles” becomes a project that values matter, light and simplicity, with a contemporary look that dialogues with the environment and everyday comfort.
