In the interior rehabilitation project of the “Pau Alcover” space in Barcelona, an action has been carried out focused on the renovation of the interior cladding to improve both aesthetics and acoustic and lighting comfort.
A new roof system has been installed with linearly arranged wooden slats, which provides warmth to the space while integrating technical lighting systems in a discreet and functional way. This solution also contributes to better acoustic management of the environment, thanks to the sound-absorbing properties of the materials used.
The vertical panels have also been coated with natural wood, giving visual continuity and creating a unified and contemporary atmosphere. These coatings hide technical elements and storage, maintaining a clean and refined image.
With this intervention, the space has been transformed into a warm, functional and high architectural quality environment, in line with the values of sustainability and design of the global project.
