In the rehabilitation project “Banys Vells”, located in the heart of Barcelona, an exhaustive restoration work has been carried out with the aim of preserving and highlighting the original elements of the space.
The intervention has included the careful restoration of the existing windows and doors, with a treatment that has combined the conservation of the original carpentry with the improvement of its functional features. Decorative moldings have also been restored, recovering their detail and presence as architectural elements that provide identity and historical value to the interiors.
In addition, custom wardrobes have been designed and built to adapt to the particularities of each room, optimizing the space and integrating the storage solutions within the general architectural language of the project. The furniture has been designed as an essential part of the environment, with a sober and functional design, aligned with the identity of the interiors.
With this action, “Banys Vells” recovers its original character and incorporates new solutions that improve the quality of life and the daily use of spaces, in balance between heritage and functionality.
