The rehabilitation project “Basses de Sant Pere”, located in Barcelona, has focused on the recovery and updating of a residential space with the aim of preserving its original charm while improving its functionality and comfort.
One of the main actions has been the renovation of the roof beams, which have been rehabilitated to guarantee structural stability and, at the same time, put them in value as a characteristic element of the house. This work has allowed to maintain the expressiveness of traditional architecture, providing warmth and identity to the interiors.
The floors have been renovated with materials that respect the essence of the space, combining durability and aesthetic coherence. As for the doors, new pieces have been installed finished in white, which provide light and visual lightness, integrating subtly with the rest of the finishes.
The intervention as a whole has sought to maintain the original grace of the house, balancing respect for the existing architecture with the use of current solutions that improve the user experience and the quality of the spaces.
