Interior Design Project for a Private Residence
This residential project has been conceived as an integrated, elegant, and functional space, where all elements have been designed with a cohesive language combining veneered and solid chestnut wood, lacquered wood, and high-quality materials. The goal has been to create a warm, contemporary home with construction and furniture solutions that seamlessly integrate aesthetics and functionality.
Hallway and Common Areas:
The main circulation area is defined by a hallway paneled in lacquered wood, with flush-mounted chestnut doors that blend seamlessly with the panels, creating a sense of continuity. Hidden hardware reinforces the feeling of minimalism and visual cleanliness. The automatic entrance door with fingerprint access provides security and technology seamlessly integrated into the design.
Dining and Living Areas:
The dining and living areas feature custom-made solid chestnut wood tables, designed as central pieces of the space. The combination of stained and lacquered wood textures adds warmth and modernity to all furniture, creating an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has been designed with plywood surfaces covered with HPL and antibacterial compact material, ensuring durability and hygiene. The layout incorporates two sliding doors that allow the space to be transformed: the kitchen can be completely closed to control odors and noise while maintaining visibility through glass panels, or opened to connect with the dining and living areas, creating a continuous and fluid space.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
The bedrooms feature custom-made chestnut and lacquered wood furniture with integrated storage solutions that maintain visual cleanliness and design coherence. The bathrooms include furniture in the same style, complementing the sense of quality and harmony throughout the residence.
Library and Workspaces:
The library and reading or work areas are designed with custom-made chestnut wood shelving and furniture, with finishes that provide warmth and visual comfort. Their integration with the rest of the home makes these spaces both functional and decorative.
Overall Integration:
The entire residence has been designed as a cohesive whole, where stained chestnut wood, lacquered wood, and technical materials combine to create a uniform design language. The space is contemporary yet warm, with solutions that maximize functionality, light, and a sense of continuity. Every element, from hidden hardware to the kitchen sliding doors, has been thoughtfully designed to provide a fully integrated and harmonious living experience.
