The rehabilitation project “Aurora”, located in Barcelona, stands out for the incorporation of unique solutions and a careful design that combines functionality and originality in small spaces.
One of the most remarkable elements of the intervention has been the construction of a tailor-made wooden enclosure with an integrated cup, which acts as a central piece of the space. This multifunctional element delimits, on the one hand, the bathroom -which is discretely and efficiently integrated-, and on the other, it serves the kitchen from the opposite side. This solution offers an intelligent response to the needs of organization and privacy, providing a unique character to the project.
In addition, custom furniture has been designed for the bathroom, optimizing each corner and guaranteeing a formal continuity with the other wooden elements of the project. The finishes and the selection of materials respond to criteria of balance between warmth, durability and architectural integration.
With this project, “Aurora” transforms a domestic space into a contemporary and functional proposal, where each design decision contributes to the personality and comfort of the house.
